SQUASH
A warm WELCOME to the SQUASH SECTION:

The Club has 3 courts, one of which is a glass back match court.
All courts are open from 08h00 to 22h00 (with the exception of league matches that are played in season from 18h00 to ± 21h00).

Please note that only CLUB MEMBERS may use these facilities.

Courts are not open to outside visitors unless invited and playing with a Member.
The visitor may only be invited a maximum of 2 times per month.
The maximum time that can be booked is 60 minutes.
Charges for non-squash members playing casually is R50 per hour.
Members who play squash regularly would benefit from being a Squash Member.

Squash Members:

A key for the squash court may be purchased from Reception for R45 and a light disc for R60.
Thereafter, Squash Members are debited R70 per month to cover a portion of the lights and one can play as much as one likes.

Family Squash:

This facility is available for families in the Club who are regular squash players.
A key and light disc may be purchased from Reception and a monthly family charge of R95 per month is debited to one’s account to cover a portion of the lights and one can play as much as one likes.

Light Subsidy Draw:

All adult members (excluding minors at school and at University) contribute R20 per month which is debited to one’s account which helps fund the ever increasing electrical bills but at the same time allowing the winning members to benefit also. In this way both the member and squash section benefit 50/50.
This draw is done 4 times a year and there are 6 different prizes to be won each time :
R600 ; R400 ; R200 ; R100 x 3 (attendance prizes).

Bookings:

To facilitate court bookings, we have a squash website which is accessible from one’s Blackberry or PC.
Once one becomes a member the squash committee will register one so that one can log onto the system and become an active user on the site with one’s own password to make or delete one’s bookings.
