This course is the first technical squash coaching course required to achieve certification. The course will be conducted by Head Pro Barry Gifford at the Terminal City Club in downtown Vancouver.
This course in combination with the applicable Multi-Sport Modules and Coaching Evaluation will result in you being a Certified Squash Instructor or Certified Squash Assistant. Which is equivalent to the former Level 1 certification.
This course runs Friday evening 5:00pm - 9:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm, and Sunday from 12:30 pm - 5:00pm. To receive credit for the course, you must be in attendance for the entire course. The cost includes the materials for the course, and the cost of the evaluation at a later date. There are only 8 spots available in this course.
Please bring squash attire, warm-up clothes, a lunch (for Saturday), pen and paper. You will be on and off the court doing various activities both physical and mental so come prepared for a weekend of learning.
