About
This is the first Gympie PSA Satellite event created to benefit players getting started on the PSA Tour and it is proudly supported by Gympie Regional Council.
This event is eligible for PSA Satellite ranking points and has over $3500 in cash prize money.
Prize money breakdown (AUD): 1st: $700 - 2nd: $400 - 3/4: $200 - 5/8: $50
Plate Winner: $100
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
* PSA Men's and Women's Events: registered as PSA Satellite and eligible for PSA ranking points (players must apply through the PSA website within 24 hours of event completion to claim these points).
* Draws will be limited to the top 32 male players and 16 female players, PSA registered players will be given priority then SportyHQ ratings will be used thereafter.
* Format is Knockout with a Plate event for first round losers.
* PAR 11, Best of 5 games.
* Official Ball: Dunlop Pro
* 17 inch tins will be used for all main draw matches.
* Players will be expected to be available to referee and mark the match immediately after their own.
* All players under the age of 19 must wear Squash Australia approved eye-wear.
* Squash Australia reserve the right to combine events and move entrants between events where deemed necessary.
