Midlands Squash Union will be hosting the Masters Singles IPT for the first time ever in Pietermaritzburg from the 14th to the 18^th of May 2020. Registration and the opening function will be on Thursday 14^th May, with squash being played over the next 4 days, from Friday 15^th to Monday 18^th, and ending with the prize giving dinner and dance on the 18th.

This tournament is open to all Masters players over the age of 35. Both the men and ladies sections will be according to strength, plus there will be a Golden Oldies section for players over 70. Each section will consist of 6 teams of 5 players.  Each player will play 5 matches over the 4 days of the tournament with one match per day, except on one day, when both a morning and an afternoon match will be played.

The Midlands Committee is very excited about being given the opportunity to host this tournament. A Masters IPT Singles Sub-Committee has been formed and is committed to organising a fantastic tournament, both on and off the court. As well as 5 squash matches during the day, there will be functions on 4 of the 5 nights in a marquee at Collegians Club, with 1 free night for provincial or team dinners.

The entry fee for Masters Singles is still to be finalised but will be approximately R1 200, which will include all squash, great functions, goodie bags etc. etc.  - exact details to follow.
